“Jane Eyre” is a romantic union of the bashful rose, elegant bergamot and the subtle clary sage. This is a modest, sophisticated and tasteful fragrance, named after the famous novel “Jane Eyre” written by Charlotte Bronte in 1847, and its protagonist, admired by generations of readers for her dignity and intelligence. “Jane Eyre”‘s light aroma evokes enjoying a steamy cup of floral Earl Grey laced with rose water.
This makes a graceful gift for an avid reader (and a lover of Victorian era literature), as well as a fan of botanical perfumery. The fragrance is 100% natural and is based on fractionated coconut oil, which is light, non-greasy and will quickly absorb into your skin, leaving the blend of essential oils to work their aromatic wonders. “Jane Eyre” comes in a 10 ml glass bottle; it is extremely shelf-stable, but please avoid exposing it to direct sunlight for any length of time.

Gorgeous scent. My first impression is very elegant, but light at the same time with a sensual rose hint and freshness. For me – as a herbalist is very important to stay natural as much as possible, but as a woman I need to feed my body and spirit with some delicate scent like this. Perfect, love it so much.

This scent is amazing. Jane Eyre is one of my all-time favorite characters and books, and I’m sort of well known for being a tea addict, so I had to get this perfume. The scent is a lovely vanilla-y earl grey on me, with just a hint of floral-ness coming through. It’s fairly long lasting for a natural perfume, I put some on before work and again after work if I’m going somewhere for the night. My only gripe is that the bottle is so small I’m definitely going to have to order another bottle again soon. If the maker ever considers offering a larger bottle size, I will be first in line to get it!

I absolutely love this scent. Its hard to describe but its not like anything i ever smelled before. I keep smelling my wrists and hair constantly because I cant get enough of it. I bought a sample box and was in love straight away, even found it hard to pick a favourite. I received a sample of this a few days ago. It really does smell like a cup of earl grey, particularly in the opening. Once it dries down a bit the rose comes through most clearly, but it doesn’t smell like a vintage, overwhelming type of rose – it retains freshness. When I first compared them, this struck me as a more moody, dark and romantic version of the Anne of Avonlea fragrance. It definitely evokes the stormy, gothic romance feeling of Jane Eyre!

I’ve started carrying this subtle, uplifting scent with me everywhere. I’m not normally a fan of rose perfumes because of the strength and obviousness, but this is different. It has the delicateness of the fresh, pale pink petals, complemented by the soothing greenness of bergamot tea and clary sage. The soft and clean quality has really gotten me into oil perfumes now. I’ve already ordered ‘Vanilla Rooibos’ too because it’s evident the blender is fantastic and accurately makes compositions as described and that unfold nicely.

Love this scent so much! Very feminine and luxurious, while not being too heavy. I purchased this as a cruelty free alternative to my Chloe perfume, since they both have rose and bergamot notes. While it smells a little different, I still really really like it and think it will be great for this coming summer in muggy Milano! The scent is absolutely lovely, perfect if you do not like alcohol based fragrances, and so is the packaging. Only downside is that after application the perfume does not last too long.
