Women’s Fragrance Sampler

Choosing a fragrance is personal, and we recommend trying a sample before commiting to the full-size bottle. This women’s fragrances sampler consists of four 1ml vials of our botanical fragrances all named after literary heroiness: “Alice”, “Jane Eyre”, “Elizabeth Bennet” and “Anne of Avonlea”. As always, please ask your doctor before using any product containing essential oils if you are pregnant or nursing.
All scents are 100% vegan, alcohol-free, and based on high-quality fractionated coconut oil.Each sample vial contains 1ml (ONE MILLILITER) of fragrance, enough for at least 4-5 applications. Box dimensions: 55mm x 42mm x 18mm. These are samples and not full-size products, please bear this in mind when ordering.

I am very fussy about fragrance and for years have been searching for one that is perfect for me, free from animal cruelty and doesn’t bring me out in a rash. You have no idea how difficult this has been. Being a lover of literature, and feisty, empowering female heroines in particular, I stumbled upon Ravenscourt Apothecary and fell in love with the idea of fragrance named after some of my favourite characters in literature. I treated myself to this sampler set and I’m pleased to say it has lived up to my expectations (and more) I think Jane Eyre may possibly be made especially for me, and I only say ‘possibly’ because I’m wearing Alice right now and I am sorely tempted by this too. Decisions. Decisions. Needless to say I will be back for a whole bottle just as soon as I’ve made up my mind! Oh and I should say that I’ve worn all four scents for four days running and no sign of any skin irritation! Bingo!

All of these perfumes smell wonderful! I don’t like syntetic fragrances, because I think they have a unnatural, fake scent. I also don’t like the unhealthy chemicals they often contain. Considering my personal favourite, I’m leaning towards Alice. Thinking of purchasing one more sampler, this time for my sister who like me, loves this type of literature. I’m also interested in the tea-fragrance selection.The possibility to buy samples is a great idea, so you can try different scents before deciding to buy a whole bottle. If I would have one small complaint, it would be that it is very hard to open the bottles. At least no chance of leakage!

I’ve always had a difficult time with perfumes because I’m allergic to most of them–when I put them on or if someone else has very strong perfume my throat starts to constrict. It’s not dangerous, but it’s not pleasant. However I love essential oils and playing with scents, so I was so excited when I found these perfumes! The fact that they’re named after literary characters made me so happy, and I love the packaging and attention to detail, even on the small samples. The fragrances smell lovely, and totally change when they’re on your skin. My favorite is Jane Eyre, and my second favorite is probably Alice. I think I’ll be getting the tea sampler as well before making a decision on a large bottle. This would be a great little stocking stuffer too!

The package arrived quickly and the perfumes are very lovely! It is difficult to pick a favourite. Right from the vial it was Jane Eyre, but after I tested them
on the skin I found that Elizabeth Bennet worked the best (and Anne came very close). So it seems to make a difference to be able to sample the perfumes on the skin. They last quite a few hours too, which I didn’t expect after having read about natural perfumers.

Quick delivery to germany, the perfume samplebox looks lovely, the smell are all unique and wonderful. It will be hard to decide which one to buy since i love all 4 of them, thanx god for Christmas soon :-). Not to long ago i started using natural perfumes and im glad i stumbled over Ravenscout. Mega Thumbs up for the packaging. I cant wait to call a fullsize Perfume my own and display it in my Bathroom <3

I bought these as a birthday present for myself. I’m very pleased. I usually wear floral or spicy oriental scents & try t find ones that are not tested on animals. I love all four perfumes, however, Alice has to be my absolute favourite. I’m not sure what it is about it, it could be the Neroli as I’m not familiar with that scent. I like having the variety because I can put on a different one each day depending on which heroine I want to channel! It seems as though they will last me a long time too.

Tanya, thank you so much for these adorable samples! I enjoy all of them:) The thing I appreciate is that every scent is truly unique and you can find a perfect one for yourself. Personally, I liked Alice most of all (no wonder she is my favourite character:)). It is light and gentle and is perfect for a young girl. Jane Eyre is the most mysterious one, to my mind. I didn’t like it at first, but five minutes later after application it was my second favorite.
About delivery: I live in Ukraine and delivery took about a week, which is quite fast. Package was also very nice, I liked its vintage style:)

I just received my fragrance sampler yesterday. I really like three out of four scents, with Alice and Anne of Avonlea being my two favorites. The Alice smells like a beautiful English flower garden in the summer. It will most likely be the one I purchase first, but I am going to keep wearing my samples for awhile to be sure. They are so lovely and unique! I am in the USA and it took about 11 days to receive my order.

The scents are lovely, each is distinctive, but all are fresh and pleasant. Shipping was just as promised. The only difficulty was getting the samplers open without splashing or spilling, they were so tight, even for my husband. I know it’s important they stay sealed in shipping, but hopefully someone will think of a better method.
