Chamomile Soap is a calming and nourishing herbal bar, entirely handcrafted from start to finish. Soothing and gentle, Chamomile soap is perfect for sensitive and irritated skin. It is suitable for use on both the face and the body.

For centuries, humanity has turned to Roman Chamomile for general health and, more specifically, for skin health. When it comes to using herbs in soap, there is no way you can go overboard. This bar harnesses the healing power of Chamomile in three ways: infused in the oil, in the water, and added as dried flowers.

Oil maceration is the process of extracting goodness from herbs and other botanicals by simply allowing them to release their properties into the oil over time. After several weeks, the oil is ready for use in soap. Chamomile water infusion – think loose-leaf chamomile tea! – is another way that Chamomile is used in this soap. Finally, dried chamomile flowers add gentle exfoliation and are scientifically proven to increase your sheer joy 🙂

While Chamomile soap is free from added fragrances, it retains a faint herbal scent. It contains no essential oils, which makes it as sensitive skin-friendly as possible. Nourishing coconut oil, as well as shea and cocoa butter, make it very mild and ideally suited for gentle cleansing. As with all other Ravenscourt Apothecary all-natural soaps, Chamomile soap is vegan and cruelty-free.
