Ravenscourt Apothecary:
Blending Literature, Tea and Essential Oils Together

UK-based artisan perfumer Tanya Kuznetsova began creating natural fragrances after relocating to Europe from the United States, where she used to lead a large beauty department. Craving a more personal connection with her craft, she made her first steps into entrepreneurship in 2013. Her work is inspired by Victorian literature, her love of unusual teas, and the rich simplicity inherent in nature. She uses only natural ingredients of plant origin and strongly supports the cruelty-free movement, striving to handcraft small scale personal care products that are kind to the environment.

When making soap, Tanya uses the time-honored and energy-efficient cold process, and avoids the use of palm oil due to its unsustainability and environmental concerns. Her soap is often left unscented to better suit the needs of people with sensitive and intolerant skin. Each of her fragrances and skincare products is lovingly created in her studio, with the utmost attention to detail and quality.

Tanya holds a degree in English and Education and has a life long relationship with photography. Her line Ravenscourt Apothecary is the expression of her skills as an artisan, writer and photographer.
